And if you’re wondering “how did I get myself into being a whole entire business owner?” Then you’re in good company.

When I decided to reacquaint myself with my love of design, it felt amazing. But turning that love into a business? Can confirm: it’s not for the faint of heart.

My recommendation is to find professionals who know your audience and your industry like the well-worn cover of their favorite book.

Professionals, for instance, like me.

As an introverted kid, books were always my safe space. And chances are, you’re in the middle of writing or editing the book that will be a safe space for someone else. So allow me to offer you some validation:

Yes, selling things is a thousand times harder than creating them. Yes, trying to figure out the book industry’s rules of marketing for authors and editors sometimes feels like trying to pry open a Polly Pocket with short nails.

That’s why I don’t want you to do it alone.

Yep, that’s me!

WHAT KIND OF BOOK BRANDS DO I BUILD? FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK.

This is one of those book series I got into at a very young age, probably in first grade. My great-aunt actually gave me my first copy. It is still sitting on my shelf, well-read, pages held together with different types of tape. This is my comfort book series. I go back to Hogwarts as often as I can.

As a kid, everyone was either team Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew. Me? I’m firmly team Nance. I VIVIDLY remember grabbing every book in this series from my elementary school library: middle stack, third shelf. Thank you Nancy Drew for my rapidly accumulated Advanced Reader points in 3rd grade.

This is a book series that feels like a fever dream, but that no B.S. scruffy brown dog is forever burned into my brain. Is this where my love of crime fiction started? You know, it just might be.

I’m sure my mom thought this was an innocent read for a middle schooler. But in an era before Gossip Girl, I gobbled up every page of the wild teen drama I (blessedly) didn’t have in my own life. This series is sitting on my bookshelf as we speak.

The. Nostalgia.
To this day, dystopian fiction is one of my top genres, and this is the book that started it all. I remember finishing my first read feeling ready to take up archery and match Katniss’s badass sharpshooter energy. Honestly, I still hold out hope that my dream will come to fruition.

Believe it or not, I read this one of my own volition. This is one of the books I read in high school that made me think beyond my teenage bubble and stuck with me long after I read it.
Adding this to my “re-read soon” list.

I love this book almost as much as Harry Potter. The characters, the world, the politics, the love, the secrets, the brewing uprising, everything. It was my return to fantasy and I can (and have) read this book over and over again.

If you know, you know 😉

This is the best book of the ACOTAR series. No argument.

These days, my portfolio is starting to look a lot like my bookshelf.

“Thiiis is hoooow we doooo iiiit.”

I prefer to be an open book (if you’ll pardon the pun.)
So here’s the ethos and energy I’m bringing into my projects.

One day, you’re going to be a rich and famous author or a world-class editor. But until then, I’m committing to keeping my prices realistic, making my packages available in stages, and always, always offering payment plans.

REALISTIC PRICING

Not to be dramatic, but if you’re bringing more stories to the world? You’re already my hero.

BIGGEST FAN

“The work I put into my business is finally being properly reflected in its outward appearance.

Seeing the finished product of my website brought tears to my eyes.”

“She made me feel truly seen and understood.

The final result was beyond what I could've imagined. She captured the essence of my brand."

Maybe you know exactly what you want your brand to look like.

OR maybe the whole idea of creating a brand around your work makes your brain short-circuit.

Wherever you’re at, I’ll meet you there.

I have always been a right and left-brained baddie. With your inspiration and my tech savvy, we’ll create things that are both functional and beautiful.

ARTISTIC APPROACH

 TECHNICAL PRECISION

“It was like she knew exactly what I wanted before I could even say it! Ty's creative mind put together the website I was hoping for and then some.

To be honest, this is one of the top three highlights of my business this year.”

Don’t panic, but between domain purchasing, website builders, backlinks, and inquiry forms – there are a LOT of details involved in building and executing a professional brand. Luckily, details and I are like this 🤞🏾

TYPE-A IN THE BEST WAY

“I cannot believe how organized she was -

I felt like I had everything laid out for me to set me up for success. Her professionalism and knowledge of her craft was apparent.”

This might be your first rodeo, but it’s definitely not mine.
And I take my role as “your supporting character” literally.
I’m going to educate and inform you as we go along so that you always know what’s happening with your project, and can ultimately stop feeling so overwhelmed by the marketing side of your craft.

TOTAL SUPPORT

somehow Tyesha turned it into the most beautiful, organized, and well-designed website I’ve ever seen.”

You, my friend, deserve a cohesive author or editor brand and website that feels right.

I’d love for you to sit back and sip champagne, while I duck into a changing room and dress your platform in a brand identity that makes your audience say “Who IS she?”

When I’m through, all you’ll need to do is lean forward and mouth: “It’s… perfect.”

So. Should we cue the makeover montage?
